Edit to one star- I’d honestly give no stars if I could. I knew it seemed cheap when we first put it together, but not even 3 months later and it’s already broken to pieces. The rungs that are in place to hold the mattresses on do not have a way to actually be secured to the frame and just sit in drilled out holes. Every single rung has come out. It’s just very cheaply made and not at all worth the money I spent on it.I was a little irritated that after I had already ordered the black one, I get notified it is out of stock and so I ended up getting the silver one. Not a huge deal, but I did want the black one. It definitely takes two people to put it together and the little feet things to go on the legs of the bed don’t properly fit in, you just sorta sit them in there and hope for the best. It’s not very sturdy. My ten year old (albeit, he’s a very large- think 14 year old- ten year old) tried to climb the ladder to get on the top bunk and the whole bed started tipping over. I’m also frustrated that the trundle isn’t attached to the bunk bed at all. It moves freely and separately from the bunk bed. I was hoping it was attached by a track or something so it couldn’t be completely pulled out, rather just pulled out enough to use. All in all, I’m a little disappointed in how unstable it is for a bigger child to climb up (o believe the max weight for the top bunk said 200lbs and he’s only around 100-110). But if you aren’t expecting much for the money, I guess it’s alright. It’ll do for now, but I will definitely need to replace when my younger kids get bigger.This product is solid and a great value compared to other bunk beds that can't be separated. There was a discrepancy in the parts that are received compared to the images in the instructions. For instance the end safety caps for the bed posts are not the same as the ones pictured, and they fall out whenever they feel like it. I had to hot glue them on to keep them in place. but outside of this one issue very happy with my purchase.This product is great easy assembly for most part except for middle bars that go across each bunk it is a hassle in less have 1 or 2 sets of additional hands which my kids helped for most part but other than that it's great jus enough room for all my babies an height once assembled was slightly taller than bunk bed from Walmart in comparison to pictureMy package was missing the guard for the top bunk. Missing the railing for the ladder. Only received one railing to attach the ladder. Did not want to disassemble to return. Only want the missing parts.I liked that you can put a box spring and mattress on the bottom bunk and still have plenty room. It’s very sturdy but when my teenager climbs up it seems a bit wobbly but the bottom person doesn’t seem to notice and doesn’t feel any movement. Money well worth spent on this.I was not exspecting them to be so light weight it is light a soda-pop can light weight do not put big kids over 80lbs on this it will not be goodam a very disappointed grandmother.I ordered these bunk beds for my granddaughters for when they visit. I was so excited as were they. As we were putting it together I’m noticing brown rust stains on the white metal bars. Thinking it will come off-Much to my dismay it does not!Then when this bed which has a weight limit of 250 lbs on the top bunk was fully assembled, I stepped on the ladder to make the bed and the whole bed is shaky and I felt like it was going to tip forward and I do not even weigh 150 lbs.The ad for this bed never said I would have to anchor it to the wall.I am so nervous for my grand babies to use this bed.
