I had two of these cans filled with gasoline and a preservative in the back of my truck for several months. I purchased them for emergency utilization in case if I ever ran out of fuel or didn't have money to purchase fuel. Well just so happens yesterday I was very low on cash and was also close to running out of gasoline in my truck. And, I remembered I'd had these two 5-gallon cans in the back of my truck for a couple of months. So I thought might as well use the gasoline in them. I took them out of the back of my truck. Screwed on theie nozzles. Filled up my tank half full with the gasoline from these containers. Didn't spill a drop. They were easily handled and the gasoline flowed into my vehicle quickly. They're a great value for the money and are very sturdy and very easy to handle. I recommend them highly. I may even buy a couple more for the future.Pro’s- Great looking gas can’s for sure.- They appear to be well made and sturdy.- Great customer service as one of my plastic nozzles arrived without the O-Ring installed. I was provided the dimensions so that I could purchase a replacement locally and offered a credit.- Shipment packaging is the BEST that I have seen. Both came double boxed with foam padding.Con’s:- Arrive with 2 plastic flexible pour nozzles which are highly unlikely to last as long as the gas cans. They need to come with metal flexible filler nozzles.- I was unable to find replacement plastic nozzles that would fit locally nor on Amazon so when the time comes I will need to purchase a fuel pump.I Would Like:- To be able to stack the two 5 Gallon cans.I like to carry a spare can when pulling my camper and used traditional plastic containers but always had a gas smell inside the shell of my truck. After this purchase the smell is gone! Seems to be sturdy enough to handle the minor knocking around in the truck bed.Bought 2 and they are definitely the 'jewels' in my fuel can collection.PRO:- They appear to be well made and sturdy enough.- Shipment packaging was the best! Double boxed with foam.- The gloves and extra nozzle assembly with can attachment clip was a nice touch.- The short wide 'low profile' 20L can design is practically tip-over proof! It still needs to be secured for long trips but if just going across the yard in the bed of my truck - no worries.CON: (Ok, these are not bad, just nitpicky 'I wish it had' items)- I wish the vent and filler caps had some sort or retention like a 'mushroom button' on top that a plastic leash/strap could have been used to keep them attached to the can.- A nice 'elite' finishing touch would have been to use a flexible metal filler nozzle instead of plastic.- The filler cap seals at the bottom of the can spout / cap threads and depending on how much sloshing the fuel does you may have a few drops that accumulate in the threaded area run down the side of the can when you unscrew the filler cap. I understand the design is because of the way the filler nozzle stores inside the can spout prevents putting an effective seal at that point - but again this is a 'nice to have' redesign wish...I like the shorter wider profile. I tends to ride in the truck bed better than a traditional can. There are a few sharp edges as mentioned, but nothing too bad in my opinion. As a metal fabricator i know the price of SS right now, so factoring that in i feel like these are a good can for the money.Thank you !Everything is perfect except the metal it a little thin in my opinion. I don't think it would take a hard if it came loose from your rig or whatever. It did come with two spouts that I thought was very nice and it was packed well and showed up undamaged. I'm sure this can will store clear gas for a long time and contaminate it as plastic containers do. After a season metal delivers the gas in perfect clarity. After a season such as my boat motors the gas in plastic comes out tainted and doesn't run well. Clear gas will last and I recommend metal and nothing is better than stainless.Worth to money, the best so far out of all the tank I've bought before.
