This is the first review I’ve ever written on Amazon and I’ve ordered thousands of things. I personally don’t like self-help books because I can never get myself to believe all of the advice in them, or they’re never relatable. I have anxiety/OCD which leads to my occasional bouts of insomnia.This book feels like it was written for me. I could not even believe the author had experienced word for word what goes through my head every night. It helped me not feel alone, and not fear wakefulness like I do. The facts in the books from the studies were helpful to reassure me that I am getting more sleep than I think and I’m not going to die from some negative health effect. I just read this book tonight in one sitting but feel confident from the knowledge I’ve learned. He also makes the book light-hearted and relatable which made me less anxious reading about insomnia in the first place. 10/10 read.
