They look so adorable and decided on this set due to the price and size. I was weary initially as some of the reviews revealed orders that arrived damaged. I took the risk and am very happy that I did. The glasses, straws and lids are all beautifully made. They were very well cushioned in the packaging, but I do understand how incredibly rough delivery drivers can be...despite excellent packaging. After opening and immediately hand washing the straws, lids and glasses my teen daughter and I started using them immediately. My husband saw us drinking with our new fashionable glasses and started using them as well. He is primarily a water drinker but he loves how they feel and look. We have metal straws and now glass straws and the majority prefer the look and feel of the glass straws. The glass of the cups and straws feel very sturdy. The bamboo lids fit the glasses perfectly. The lids are very lightweight and the rubber creates a good seal. The lids seem like (as with most wood) may eventually split with continued use and exposure to water when washing. So far so good though!Update: Make sure you wash and dry these after use. One of my family members (who is not super reliable when it comes to cleaning their dishes) Left water in their glass for several days and now the lid has black mold on it. Still think this is a good glass set! Just make sure those who use them clean and dry them.Great for entertaining in summer and serving cold drinks. Easy to clean. No plastic taste.Sometimes the kid doesn’t fit quite right and you have to mess with it a bit. But other than that it’s a great set! Perfect for iced coffee and protein shakesPerfect for crafting.
